Focus on Sports

At your first appointment, Dr. Ferrell will perform an evaluation of the injured area(s) & ask questions related to your specific sports injury in order to develop a personalized treatment plan for you.

Treatment will typically involve the use of chiropractic adjustments of the injured area(s) combined with Shockwave Therapy and structural stabilization (Rock Tape). The aim is to return to full physical activity.

Common Sports Injuries

Dr. Ferrell  is highly experienced in the assessment and treatment of soft tissue injuries with extensive knowledge in structural biomechanics, orthopedics,  sport-specific movement, and physical rehabilitation.

We can help with:
  Overuse injuries and repetitive injuries
Muscle tears, tendon, and ligament sprains
  Knee, ankle and foot injuries
Shoulder injuries, tennis/golfer elbow, hand/wrist pain

Shockwave Therapy

Accelerate healing and conquer stubborn pain with our state-of-the-art shockwave therapy. This non-invasive treatment uses targeted acoustic waves to stimulate deep tissue repair, break up scar tissue, and boost blood flow—helping your body recover faster. Ideal for chronic conditions like plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, and muscle injuries, shockwave therapy reduces inflammation, speeds recovery, and gets you back to the activities you love. Safe, quick, and effective for athletes, active adults, and anyone seeking lasting relief when traditional methods haven’t worked.

Rock Tape

Rock Tape is applied along muscles, ligaments, and tendons (soft tissue) to provide a lightweight, external support that helps you remain active while recovering from sports injuries. Rock Tape creates neuromuscular feedback (called proprioception) that inhibits (relaxes) or facilitates stronger firing of muscles and tendons. This feedback creates support elements without the bulk and restriction commonly associated with wraps and heavy bracing.
